Back pain, migraines or headaches? Chronic fatigue and low energy?

Persistent back pain, migraines or tension headaches, constant tiredness and exhaustion, or digestion that has come to a standstill can all be signs that the body is out of balance.

When everyday life feels overwhelming and energy levels are low, gentle, holistic treatment can support the body’s natural ability to restore balance and vitality.

If any of these symptoms sound familiar, professional reflexology treatment may be a beneficial and natural way to support the body and relieve discomfort.

First treatment

The first reflexology session begins with a thorough conversation to clarify what the treatment is intended to support. It may be a specific pain condition, recurring headaches, stress-related symptoms or simply a desire to relax and enjoy a moment of self-care. All needs are equally valid.

During the consultation, topics such as medical history, family life, diet and exercise are reviewed. The level of detail is entirely optional, but the more information that is shared, the easier it is to tailor an effective and individual treatment plan.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a holistic treatment method with roots in ancient traditional medicine. The therapy focuses on the body’s reflex zones, which are areas on the feet, hands and ears that correspond to different organs, muscles and tissues throughout the body. By applying specific pressure and massage to these zones, the reflexologist supports the body in restoring balance, improving circulation and strengthening its natural self-healing abilities. During a typical reflexology treatment, the focus is primarily on working with the feet and their many reflex points.

How can reflexology help?

Reflexology does not replace medical treatment and cannot cure diseases or disorders 100%, but it can be a valuable complementary therapy that helps relieve symptoms, reduce pain and support general well-being.

Many people experience positive effects such as:

  • Reduction of stress and inner restlessness.
  • Improved blood circulation and warmth in hands and feet.
  • Strengthening of the immune system and the body’s resilience.
  • Pain relief, including chronic conditions such as headaches, migraines, menstrual pain and muscle pain.
  • More regular and comfortable digestion.
  • Increased sense of relaxation, balance and general well-being.

Japanese Lifting

This natural Japanese Lifting facial treatment has its roots in an ancient, traditional Japanese technique that has been practiced since around the beginning of the 5th century AD.
The method combines elements from Facial Reflex Therapy with traditional Japanese facial massage, resulting in a manual, non-invasive and natural facial treatment that supports and helps normalize the body’s overall functions.

Already after the first session, many experience deep relaxation throughout the entire body, while the face gains a visible “natural facial lifting” effect from the very beginning. In Japanese tradition, beauty is seen as a reflection of the inner balance and harmony between mind and body.

Japanese Lifting is designed to preserve and rebuild this balance in order to support better health, increase vitality and longevity, help prevent illness, and at the same time promote a fresh, youthful appearance. The purpose was—and still is—to offer well-being, harmony, and to maintain energy, radiance, and natural beauty.

The treatment is performed by a practitioner certified by Lone Sørensen, the developer of the Japanese Lifting method.

Side Effects

In connection with Japanese Lifting, some people may experience temporary facial tenderness and, in rare cases, mild bruising after the facial massage. For this reason, it is not recommended to receive Japanese Lifting in the days leading up to a major event where appearance is particularly important.

Physiurgical Massage

Physiurgical massage is a deep, therapeutic form of medical massage that works with the body's muscles, joints, tendons, and connective tissue to relieve pain, reduce tension, and improve mobility. Using techniques such as deep pressure, stretching, and trigger point therapy, it helps release tight muscles, enhance blood circulation, and treat both acute and chronic muscular problems. This type of treatment-focused massage is especially beneficial for back and neck pain, sports injuries, overuse issues, and general physical recovery.

It is important to understand that physiurgical massage is not a classic wellness or relaxation massage—it is a more intensive, result-oriented treatment where the body is thoroughly worked on.

Key Features of Physiurgical Massage

  • Deep Techniques: The massage targets deeper layers of muscle tissue and fascia, helping to relieve pain, loosen tight “knots” or trigger points, and release long-standing tension.
  • Anatomical Focus: The treatment is based on detailed knowledge of the body's anatomy and muscle function, providing a targeted, clinically informed, and professionally grounded approach.
  • Therapeutic Purpose: The goal is to treat musculoskeletal disorders, improve blood flow, increase flexibility, support the body's natural healing and recovery process, and promote better posture.
  • Technique Variations: A range of methods may be used, including deep pressure, tissue stretching, friction, and mobilization to release muscle tension, improve joint function, and potentially break down scar tissue and adhesions.

What Physiurgical Massage Can Help With

  • Relieving pain in muscles and joints, including back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, and tension headaches
  • Treating and helping to prevent sports injuries, overuse injuries, and strain from repetitive movements
  • Increasing mobility and flexibility in stiff muscles and joints
  • Enhancing recovery after intense physical activity, training, or competition
  • Reducing stress, physical tension, and discomfort in the body, supporting overall well-being
